Folk-rock legend Joni Mitchell, 77, obtained “tasteful applause” when she arrived at a non-public dinner hosted by Clive Davis at Spago in Beverly Hills earlier this week.

As the “Case of You” singer entered, patrons “pulled out their iPhones and a tasteful applause erupted,” a spy instructed Page Six.

Mitchell’s supervisor Peter Asher, Flyte Time producer Jimmy Jam — who has sampled Mitchell’s music on songs equivalent to Janet Jackson’s “Got ’til It’s Gone” — and WME associate Richard Weitz have been among the many group of eight at Davis’ desk.

But all eyes have been on Mitchell, we hear.

“Joni looked absolutely radiant, tan in a black floral patterned dress. It was great to see her looking so great and smiling all night as patrons discreetly took pictures of her and Clive,” our supply stated.

It was a uncommon public outing for Mitchell, who instructed the Guardian final 12 months that she was “just concentrating on getting my health back” after struggling a mind aneurysm in 2015 that “took away my speech and my ability to walk.”

Mitchell has popped up at a couple of occasions, most notably Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy events, since struggling the aneurysm and persevering with to get better.

The Recording Academy’s MusiCares Foundation introduced it’ll honor Mitchell as its 2022 Person of The Year at their gala on January 29.

“I look forward to being part of this gala that will help MusiCares continue their inspired work in providing a support system for those in need,” Mitchell stated.

The basic crooner can even receive the 44th Kennedy Center Honors on December 5.
