Social media star Molly-Mae Hague shares dramatic transformation after dissolving fillers: ‘Best decision I ever made’

Molly-Mae Hague has shown her fans just how far she’s come in her journey towards a more natural appearance.

On Wednesday night, the influencer posted a photo to Instagram at London’s Winter Wonderland, in the exact same spot as one previously taken two years ago.

The 22-year-old then compared the two photos on her Instagram story, looking almost unrecognisable in the throwback.

The blonde beauty has inspired thousands of followers to “embrace their natural selves”, openly sharing her journey dissolving her lip, cheek, and chin fillers, as well as removing veneers.

Molly has called for an end to the normalisation of cosmetic fillers, following her own fears she looked like “a person from an extreme plastic surgery reality show”.

The Pretty Little Thing creative director was only 17 when she first got her lips filled and 19 when she had veneers put in, calling it “literally ridiculous”.

Molly spoke with her YouTube following, explaining the public scrutiny and reason she “went overboard” on filler.

“I have got most of filler dissolved, obviously I used to get filler and when I came out of Love Island I got a little bit more filler and for me that was the worst time for me coming out of the villa – the trolling I got for that was really intense,” she said.

“It was really horrible but I can understand why it happened because I went overboard with it and I didn’t really realise what I was doing and I just went too far.

“It was just a really, really bad time because I had literally come out of the villa and that is the time you are most scrutinised.

“At a young age like mine, when you don’t necessarily need it, you know – if you can avoid doing it, it is best,” Molly told her fans.

The comments section of Molly’s YouTube video was filled with responses, praising the then-21-year-old’s insights and maturity.

“Molly-Mae is actually a class role model, admitting to fillers and filler mistakes, encouraging listening to your mum, encouraging investments in property.

“How does she get so much hate?! She’s 21 and wise beyond her years,” one commenter wrote.

“It’s so refreshing to see such a young woman getting rid of lip fillers and getting her old teeth back, she’s gone in the right direction,” said another.
