NSW Police were called on Wednesday during the busy afternoon peak hour to Fullers Road at Chatswood, following reports a man had been hit by a truck.

When the truck driver tried to drive away the man lost his grip and was hit by the truck.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.
The truck driver was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for mandatory testing before being charged with negligent driving occasioning death, driving recklessly in a dangerous manner and breaching bail.
The North Strathfield man was refused bail to appear in Hornsby Local Court on Thursday.
