Man charged after allegedly smashing up Armaguard truck in Melbourne road rage attack
A man has been charged following an apparent road rage incident in Melbourne which saw him allegedly smash up an armoured truck.
The Armaguard truck carrying cash had been travelling on Racecourse Road in Flemington about 1pm on Friday.

As the truck was turning into a shopping centre car park, it almost collided with a red hatchback.
“The driver of the red hatchback then allegedly approached the white vehicle and remonstrated with the driver before allegedly using a hammer to smash the driver’s side window and front windscreen,” Victoria Police.
The driver then went back to his car, grabbed a hammer and appeared in the footage to use it to allegedly smash the driver’s side window and windscreen.
The Armaguard driver pulled his legally issued gun but didn’t fire it.
The suspected attacker fled.
The driver and passenger of the truck were uninjured.
Following the incident, a 64-year-old Kensington man handed himself into police.
He was charged with criminal damage, unlawful assault and assault with weapon.
He was granted bail to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on May 3.
