A soon-to-be married Perth dad injured in a cowardly one-punch attack has woken from a coma as his household as police hunt for the one who put him in hospital.
Police say Josh Maffina was punched in the again of the pinnacle as he left a pub in Success at 11.30pm Friday.
Mr Maffina’s sister Karlee Fuller stated he had “no idea” he was about to be set upon.

“There was bleeding on the brain, he had to go into surgery (Friday night) to have the pressure released,” she advised 9 News.
Mr Maffina, who’s father to a three-year-old boy, was as a consequence of be married subsequent week. His wedding has now been postponed as he recovers.
“He’s a fighter, he’s got everything to fight for. He’s got a family, he’s about to get married,” Ms Fuller stated.
She implored anybody with data on her brother’s attack to contact police.
“We just need this person caught. He shouldn’t be out there still,” she stated.
Police interviewed Mr Maffina on Saturday evening quickly after he awoke from his coma.
